Where does the attorney data come from?

Every listing originates from Michigan records and related independent sources. It is not scraped from competitor sites or purchased from third-party aggregators. 

Why is my name already listed if I never signed up?

Michigan attorney licensing information is public record. We include licensed Michigan attorneys as a public service so Michigan legal consumers can find them. The basic listing is free and automatic — no action required on your part. Membership is optional and adds control, detail, and visibility.

Can I request removal from the directory?

Yes. If you'd prefer not to be listed, contact us with a verified removal request and we'll process it promptly.

Professional Membership is $19.97 per month, or $197 per year (two months free with annual billing). That's a single, flat rate — no tiers, no upsells, no pay-per-lead surprises.

What do I get that the free listing doesn't include?

A claimed Professional Membership profile includes:

How does membership compare to Google Ads or pay-per-lead services?

Membership is a flat monthly cost regardless of how many prospects view or contact you. Pay-per-click and pay-per-lead platforms charge for every impression or inquiry — whether qualified or not, and whether converted or not. One retained matter per year typically covers years of membership; the same cannot be said for most ad platforms.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No. Monthly memberships are month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your account — no phone calls, no retention scripts, no cancellation fees. Annual memberships run for twelve months from activation.

What happens if I cancel?

Your profile reverts to a standard public-service listing (the same listing you had before joining). Your name remains in the directory, but the enhanced profile content is no longer displayed.

Profile Control & Privacy

Do you allow anonymous client reviews or star ratings?

No. We've made a deliberate choice not to host anonymous reviews or algorithmically assigned star ratings. Attorney reputations should not be determined by unverified commentary or manipulated by competitors. Our model rewards substance and completeness, not review gaming.

Will you sell my contact information?

No. We do not sell attorney data to lead brokers, marketing companies, or any third party. Your contact information is used for directory display and directory-related communication only.

Who controls what appears on my profile?

You do. Once you claim your profile through membership, you have full edit access to every field — biography, practice areas, firm information, contact preferences, and case experience. Edits publish in real time.

Can I list multiple attorneys from my firm?

Yes. Each attorney requires an individual membership because each attorney has an individual profile. Firms with multiple Michigan-licensed attorneys can subscribe each attorney separately — contact us for firm-level coordination.
